The most obvious use, is of course, a bib. But we've brainstormed quite a lot, and have thought of about a million other ways to use them, and we are hoping you will make comments about your own ideas!
Some of ours:
1. Bib (yeah, I know, duh.)
2. Drape- Use it for creating a little privacy when nursing, by securing a baby blanket around your own neck.
3. Secure a bandana around a dog's neck. The thing that makes a cinchi safe for kids, makes them safe for dogs, too (they come off when yanked quite strongly, to prevent choking-see instructions). We don't think you should let a dog chew on one, though. If they can swallow a sock, they might swallow the cinchi. Dogs need parental supervision too!
4. Use it to secure toys to a shopping cart by threading bits of them through. You have to be resourceful as a mom, so we know you'll figure out a way to do this.
5. Put papers through one slot, and hang it on the wall by the other slot for a paper clip of sorts.
6. Take it to the restaurant with you, so you can turn a napkin into a bib. Yeah, we know this falls back into the bib category, but we didn't want you to miss it. This particular use is just too cool.
7. Use it to make an apron from a large tea towel, or attach to your apron with one slot, and put a towel through the other. We think chefs will love this idea. Moms will, too!
8. To secure a plant to a stake or trellis: Either clip one end, so you can then wrap it around the plant, or use a bit of old pantyhose and work it through each slot. That way your cinchi remains intact.
9. Broken zipper? Emergency closure
10. Bag closure. We're working on a smaller size version for this very purpose- it's the bomb!
